Earlier this year, Peachy Polish did a whole mess of nail art inspired by fashion worn at the Emmy Awards. I do not know how she does it – she cranks out these GORGEOUS looks, and so quickly! I pinned several of her fashion inspired looks, and decided to do my spin on Peachy Polish’s look, which was in turn inspired by Tituss Burgess’s floral bowtie. I mean, how’s that for Pinspiration?! It seems like the perfect fall floral combination – which I love!
I absolutely loved her original post, but decided that I should probably add some studs. When in doubt… add stuff!
I polished all of my nails using Salon Perfect Oil Slick, a near one coater! I mean, it basically was, I just almost always do two coats, for some reason. That reason being – I like polishing my nails, so why stop with just one coat? I liked this black a lot, though looking at the photos, you can see that I smudged it a bunch – it’s probably the cuticle oil that gives it the streakiness, not the polish! Anyways, then I used acrylic paints to make my flowers, and stuck some studs in the top coat (and then added a second layer of top coat).
I’m kind of obsessed with these florals! Unghghghghg – aren’t they just so perfect for fall? I think they look awesome on a black background, personally…
I am digging Pinterest week – I feel like that’s my jam! Where do you find inspiration?
