I can hardly believe that it’s time for another week with the Digital Dozen! Time sure does fly… when you’re busy! That’s the saying, right? Well, this week’s theme is floral, which I am so excited for. Florals are right on trend for fall – plus, pretty flowers. Am I right? I’ve been pretty into doodle looks lately – I used to doodle all the time, especially random geometric, abstract, and kind of floral designs. I thought a flower doodle would be particularly fun, and a way to recreate some of my high school doodles. Just a bit playful and whimsical for you. I also saw some clipart somewhere of an ombre flower art scene (arg, can’t find it now! Sorry friends), and it inspired me to do a gradient type doodle on my nails. I’m really loving these fun flower doodles!
I began by applying a base of OPI My Vampire is Buff, which is a must have for nail art, as far as I’m concerned! It makes for such a nice base for art without being stark white. After that dried, I used a very fine nail art brush to doodle away! I used several colors, and in order to get more of an ombre effect I blended some of them together to match the tones I was look for. I used Zoya Dita, Zoya Charisma, Essie Snap Happy, Essie Roarrrrange, and Essie Hide & Go Chic. Once that I was dry, I applied one coat of Seche Vite followed by a coat of Loreal Matte Magic. And voila!
I’m really happy with the first day of Digital Dozen Florals week! I hope you’ll check out what the other talented ladies are up to this week!
