I can’t believe Halloween is here! Whoa, where has the time gone? I have no idea. I’m not a huge costume person, but I LOVE opening the door for all the neighborhood kids. Especially the little kids – they are so cute and little! And they have silly costumes, and it’s so fun. I’m like the mom in Freaks and Geeks – anyone know what I’m talking about?
Anyways, this is my Halloween nail art this year! I received some amazing bright but totally perfect for fall shades from Salon Perfect. I love how neon-y they are, and I really love how these three shades work so well together. LOVE the purple, especially. I’ve been using Salon Perfect a lot lately, and you’ll see some more looks using the SP shades soon. I really love how these Halloween swirls came out – I’m resolved to do more needle drag nail art!
Ok, so this look was amazingly easy to create. Here’s what I did:
- Base coat
- Working one nail at a time, blob on stripes using the bottle brush, of: Salon Perfect Traffic Cone, Loopy Line, and a Royal Affair
- While still wet, use a tooth pick to swirl the polish around. I did a spiral starting in the center.
- Clean up with a lil acetone
- Top coat with Salon Perfect Crystal Clear
Guys. This is probably my new favorite top coat. It’s AMAZING. Nothing smeared, nothing shrank, and it dries really really fast. It’s amazing!
